Although this video, developed by “Mal Booth, Sophie McDonald and Belinda Tiffen from the University of Technology Sydney” is more appropriate to academic and public libraries, there may be some interesting analogies and lessons for schools libraries.

  2. My school is planning the final stages of what the new library is going to provide the school community. We have addressed the needs of the students, staff and community. From this presentation, it is good to see that most of our criteria has matched up with what was presented. The idea of a library is a place for contemporary learning, where all patrons can embrace the many forms of information retrieval – digital forms, mongraph, periodical. It is important to keep abreast with how patrons use these sources and provide them with the best service possible.
