Have you seen DeweyDigger yet?
By clicking on one of the Dewey classifications, you are then presented with a range of topics that would be found under that classification.
Clicking on one of those you are then presented with a range of options to dig further.
Beware that some of these options include advertisements and one that I saw was for gambling. However, the initial stages of the site could be very useful for teaching the concept of Dewey. Worth a look.
This is such a neat way to learn more about the Dewey decimal system and relate it to how information is gathered today. Great for libraries!
This is really neat- how would you use this in a adult training program? I am currently working as a special education teacher and this would work wonders for my students who need more of a picture cue to help with their research.
Maybe work on the categories and predicting what might fit into which category?
How cool is this! I get mesmerized playing with the moving pics and tags. Nice.
