For anyone studying or interested in the World Cup, the BBC has produced a five minute video of the history of soccer in South Africa. The video is available to viewers in Australia (not always the case with BBC videos).

I wish that we weren’t on summer break so that I could use the World Cup as a learning opportunity! I keep seeing all of these great lessons and resources crop up and I know students would enjoy the connection between a favorite sport and learning.
