This message comes from Kelly:

I hope you are enjoying these summer months (or winter for those of you on the other side of the world)!
I wanted to let you know about a free virtual conference that some members of the alliance (Shelly Terrell, Chris Rogers, Jason Bedell, and yours truly) are putting together.
The conference is called the 2010 Reform Symposium e-conference.  This worldwide e-conference will be held July 31 – August 1, 2010.  The free conference is for educators, administrators, parents, and students.  The focus is on innovative practices in education and what role these play in educational reform.  We an excellent lineup of presenters, many of whom you will recognize from our growing PLN.
You can learn more about the conference here:
As well as sign up to interact, discuss, and meet new educators.
We would love to have your support in the form of blog posts, tweets, and passing the word on to your non-tech colleagues.  You can grab a Reform Symposium Badge to put on your blog or website from the link above.  As you talk about the conference on Twitter, would you use the #rscon10 hash tag so we can follow the buzz?
Thank you for all of your support, we hope that you will all join us in this opportunity for learning and conversation!
Here is the current schedule of events. Please be aware of the international timezones, you can compare them here. This should be a fantastic event that anyone who is interested can ‘attend’. Sessions will be held in Elluminate.
